When I first learned how to port match this video helped me out a lot. cms.skunk2.com/id/469/Skunk2-How-To-Throttle-Body-Port-Matching/4/What you will need: - Sharpie
- Intake manifold
- Throttle body with hardware
- Air compressor
- Die Grinder
- Aluminum Bits
- A steady hand
A couple of things. If you don't have a scribe you can use a permanent marker like so: Bolt up tb to intake manifold. Make sure it is bolted on the right way! Make sure to clean the intake manifold thoroughly afterwards with soap and water! The last thing you want is little aluminum shards going into the combustion camber.

Good post, where did you get the cutter bit? I plan on taking off my upper section of my TB when I do my TB so that I can port match it. I don't know if crappy tire has the bits or if there is a better place to buy them.

Fuuuuu time to call around. I doubt crappy has them, and I don't feel like driving around half the south side trying and hoping I find them. Princess auto most likely has them, but I would put money on it that they would not last more than one session of porting.

Make sure the bit you use is for aluminum or else it will gall up. You can get them at gregs or dash, or napa, or PA, or KMS.

Awesome, thanks Josh. I get cost at the Napa across from my work. I'll give them a call and pick one up.
