I got one coming!
So, my video's last year had some action but the editing was shitty. now this year i've got a very good camera and should be doing alot of racing. Anyone have any tips for making good video's that are catchy and fun to watch!
What other accessories should I get to make for cool shots (affordable stuff) and are there members on here willing to take a camera in their hands to help capture some of my driving to help produce a video or 2?

Awesome! I got mine about a month ago from Easy Rider for snowboarding. Looking forward to using it for my car as well. I got a pod mount with a few different clips. Helmet (concaved), flat (for whatever I guess) and some other one. So far, amazing quality for picture and the rest. Very easy to use. Editing imo really comes down to whatever you are envisioning. You need to know what kind of shots you want a head of time, go get them, then slap them together. Music imo plays a big part too. Knowing musical structure is important and can really help emphasis a shot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVPgq9pqyJsThat's the video I made. First video clip i've ever edited, filmed etc. Had an idea of what clips I wanted based on the music. Turned out pretty good imo.

Silver. Guys, I'ved used it a few times now for snowboarding and I have this advice. Buy 2 extra batteries. They don't last more than an hour and a half. Sucks balls when trying to get some good footage

Extra batteries are only $25. If you were to pick up 1 or 2 extra's it would be good for a full day no problem. The issue is all cameras freeze below -10C. I was in -20/-25C so I'm not surprised.

The lens frosted over because it was fucking cold and windy up there... It still worked! It stopped working in the middle of the run because the memory card was full

GoPro Hero3 BE didn't freeze up with winter autocrossing. Was a PITA getting the remote working or getting the Phone app working on it. Still had to manually turn it on for racing before starting a run.

I'm pretty sure Brad changed a setting via his phones wifi by accident causing my camera to shut off after a couple seconds. I fixed it after I thought that could have happened. I dunno if he did, but a setting was changed causing my issue. It's all good now

i run a hero 2 when sledding in the mountains and I've never had the battery die on me. probably had it on for at least four or five hours. but I don't keep track that closely.

Just returned my go pro 3 under warranty. Pretty passed about the random lock ups and that it may be 2 months to get it back.
