I wa wrong and corrected this last weekend, I infact just use a hero HD. Both my friends had hero 2's. They had battery issues, both charged there cameras fully took it up the hill and didn't use it. Took it up the next day and found both their batteries to be dead. I did the same but took 3 hours of video the second day and it still read half to full battery. I've never had mine die on me, and only ever had my 32gb card fill up on me once since I didn't delete old video that was already copied to my computer.

How is the battery life on te 3's? I don't think I'm gonna upgrade any time soon since mine seems to be working awesome for me
