actual meets like going carting would be great. im still scared to bring my personal vehicle to the track lol The racing groups are extremely welcoming. You can bring your car out and run 7/10's and be safe, even less speed if you wanted to and no one will be upset with you. I've not yet seen a more polite and respectful group of car enthusiasts anywhere. Track people are awesome!

I think it's because they know and want new people to join. They've been where every noob has been, and want to see them succeed within that persons own limits. Matured enthusiasts.

That would depend on your tires, and how hard you push the car. Brake pads might suffer as well if you're hard on em. You'll definitely have a nice layer of dust to clean off your rims. I believe the guesstimate fuel useage is about 1/4 tank, so going with 1/2 a tankish is probably ideal. You'll also, likely, wanna change your oil as well.

I may have to buy something else to use at the track lol, brake pads and oil changes arent cheap on my car.

^^^ wouldnt hurt to take it to one track day, just to see how it feels/how much wear it actually takes. If it seems like things will wear out too fast, find a track slut.
